Mini Pancake Cereal

  • 2 Cup Flour
  • 1.5 Cups Buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract


  • Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder to a mixing bowl 
  • Add enough buttermilk to the flour to make a thick batter. 
  • Mix well till the batter is lump free. Now add the Maple Syrup and Vanilla Extract and mix.
  • Divide the batter into two parts. Pour one part of the batter in a plastic squeeze bottle with a nozzle.
  • Divide the remaining batter into two parts. Add a few drops green colour to one part and red colour to the other part until you achieve the desired colour. 
  • Add some butter to a hot pan, squeeze small drops of this batter on the pan. Cook on a low flame on both sides. 
  • Transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy.


- You can use wholewheat flour as a healthier alternative. The recipe remains unchanged 
-If you dont have Buttermilk you can add 3/4th Cup Water to 1/4th Cup thick Yogurt and use this to make your Mini Pancakes.
-If you would like to skip the butter, use good quality non stick pan or a well seasoned Cast Iron skillet. Cook the mini Pancakes on low heat until cooked.
